When and how should I get new LED strip(s) for my product?
In some cases, installing new LED strips onto your product may be required. This article describes if and when you need to get a new LED strip for your product, which LED strip you need to get and how to request or purchase a new one. When should I replace the LED strip on my product?
You should replace your product’s LED strip in the following cases:
- The LED Strip is not responding at all
- Some of the LED lights are not working properly
- Some LED lights emit the wrong colors (their light color doesn’t match the other ones even though the strip is connected correctly).
Which LED strip does my product use?
EK products use three different types of LED Strips:
- EK Loop D-RGB LED strips
- EK-Loop D-RGB LED Strip Dense
- EK-Loop D-RGB LED Strip Edge Diffused Strip
Before requesting or purchasing a new one, please read the product’s user manual to find out which type of LED Strip will fit your product.
How to request/purchase a new LED strip?
If the damage to your LED strip wasn’t caused by negligence on your end, you’re eligible to request a new one and can do so by contacting our RMA/tech support.
If EK isn’t accountable for the faulty LED strip, you can purchase a new one via our shop.
Please note that we do not offer all LED strip variants through our shop, so if you cannot find the right one for your product, feel free to contact our technical support team and inquire about the strip you need. Perhaps we have it in stock, but it isn’t displayed on our webshop.
