Which fittings to use with an EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D XL distro plate loop
The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D XL distro plate features numerous ports and offers multiple ways of properly connecting it to other loop components like radiators, CPU, and GPU blocks. This article explains exactly which fittings (like extenders, adapters, angled adapters, etc.) can and should be used to properly connect the radiators and water blocks to this distro plate.
Here’s the table of content for easier navigation:
- Choosing the fittings according to the radiator(s) used in the loop
- Choosing the fittings according to the CPU block used in the loop
- Choosing the fittings according to the GPU Block used in the loop
Choosing the fittings according to the radiator(s) used in the loop
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL case provides enough room to fit several different-sized radiators simultaneously, so we decided to explain which fittings are to be used with different radiator setups.
Bottom radiators and port connections
X360 at the bottom:
If the bottom radiator is X360, use the Torque 90° (not micro) and Push-in M 14 on both ports.
P360 at the bottom:
If the bottom radiator is P360 (not X-Flow), use the 14 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M 14 on both ports.
S360 at the bottom:
If the bottom radiator is S360, use the 28 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M 14 on both ports.
Top radiators and port connections
P360 at the top:
If the top radiator is P360 (not X-Flow), then one port needs a Torque 90° (not micro) and Push-in M 14; and the other port needs Torque 90° (not micro) and Push-in M 14.
Note: if the side radiator is not used, then this port needs a 28 mm MF Extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M 14
S360 at the top:
If the top radiator is S360, then one port needs a 14 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M 14; and the other port needs a 14 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M 14.
Note: if the side radiator is not used, then this port needs a 14 mm MF extender, 28 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), and Push-in M14.
Side radiators and port connections
The side radiator's thickness is irrelevant since both P360 (not X-Flow), and S360 is mounted from the outside, with fans already installed from the inside of the case.
P360 or S360 at the side:
One port requires a 28 mm MF extender, Torque 90° (not micro), 7 mm MF extender (micro if wanted), and Push-in M 14. The other port needs a 28 mm MF extender and 2 Torque 90° (not micro). The connection can be made with regular Torque fittings and a tube connection of your choice (12, 14, or 16mm hard tube/fittings).
GPU and CPU water blocks connectivity
Given the wide variety of motherboards and graphics cards available on the market, this distro plate has multiple ports for CPU and GPU connections, so you must choose the most suitable fittings, extenders, and adapters for your project. We also offer Offset Fittings to help you achieve straight-line tubing routes from your CPU/GPU block to the DP ports.
Note: All Reflection², Vector², and Velocity² products, as well as all the Quantum Torque fittings, adapters, extenders, and Surface radiators, are made according to the EK-Matrix7 standard, enabling more user-friendly port connectivity. It also allows us to provide you with detailed info on how to easily connect the CPU and GPU blocks (Velocity² and Vector²) with the DP ports.
Choosing the fittings according to the CPU used in the loop
For products including EK-Quantum Velocity² Intel, AMD, and Momentum Monoblocks, use the following items:
Small Offset:
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 3
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 7
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 90°
- 4x EK-Quantum Torque HDC
Or:
Big Offset:
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 7
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 7
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 90°
- 4x EK-Quantum Torque HDC
Or:
No Offset:
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 28
- 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 90°
- 4x EK-Quantum Torque HDC
