PWM settings and fan/pump speed

The PWM settings don't have any effect on the actual fan/pump speed, what is wrong?

The EK Connect app most likely lost connection to the controller and needs to be restarted or the controller stopped responding and needs a power cycle. The easiest way to power cycle the controller is to restart your computer.
