The coolant can decay and leave some sediments in the loop. Please check the following steps that explain the cause, how to prevent it, and clean the loop when needed.
Problems with coolants decaying/sediment can be a result of:
- Chemical reactions to certain substances or incompatible materials
- Oils and residue inside the blocks
- An old bad batch of coolant
How to prevent:
- First, check if the coolant is still ok (2-year shelf time after bottling)
- After installation, perform a thorough loop flush (Cleaner/Superflush) to prevent debris and contaminants from mixing with the coolant
How to clean:
- Perform a thorough loop flush (Cleaner/Superflush) and open the blocks for additional cleaning if needed
