Why does it appear I have duplicate pending charges for one order?
You are NOT being double-charged for a single purchase.
If you see double (or more) pending charges on your credit card or PayPal account, do not worry. In most cases, the duplicate pending charge is typically a pre-authorization hold that is still being processed.
When you use a credit card or Paypal to pay for a transaction, your issuing bank places a hold on your account while it checks and sees if you have enough funds to pay for the transaction. This is called pre-authorization.
After the transaction has been fully processed, the pre-authorization will be removed. This may take some time, usually between 5 to 10 business days, so please be patient. If the funds don’t appear after that period, you may need to contact your bank or PayPal to see their policy on holding voided authorizations.
